Shaving products that contain a glycerin-based gel are better for the skin instead of those which are alcohol-based. Not only do alcohol-based shaving products produce a sharp stinging sensation and irritation, but they tend to over-dry the skin, causing it to produce more sebum which may actually clog the pores.

RECOMMENDED USE
For the perfect shave, warm the skin and cleanse with Blue Agave for several minutes. Blot skin dry. Place a small amount of Shave Gel into shave cup and whip into a light foam with slightly damp badger brush . Brush onto bearded area. The gel will soften hair and lubricate skin. When finished shaving, rinse skin and lightly pat dry.
